  • ‘Explorations’ Weekly Online Spirituality Group

“Explorations” our weekly on-line Spirituality Group resumes on September 3 at 10:30 am with a five-week film series called “Disruption That Heals.” Host Dave Tomlinson invites us into the thresholds — those messy, transformative spaces where faith unravels and rebuilds. Through Dave’s stories, prayers, and wisdom, you’ll explore what it means to hold questions gently, reframe old certainties, and rediscover the Divine at work within and around you. Contact Marc for the Zoom Link.

  • CFRUC Online Fall Book Study Group

On Thursday, September 11, we begin our  5 session Fall Book Study group with “Reason To Hope” by Dave Osborne. In a world grappling with climate change, rampant pollution and collapsing ecosystems, hope can seem like a luxury.

David Osborne takes us on a profound exploration, merging insights from science and religion, counselling and campaigning, pastoral work and parenthood, to show that hope is a substantial, energising force to help us work for change. Available as an e-book through Wild Goose Publishing House. It is not necessary to read the book in order to participate in the study sessions. Please contact Marc for more details and Zoom Link.

  • Fellowship & Coffee Time at CFRUC

Fellowship and Coffee Time with Marc resumes on Tuesday, September 9 and 23. Join Marc (and spaniel Millie) for a neighbourhood prayer and nature walk at 9:30 starting at the Wardlaw Entrance, or just come for coffee and conversation at 10:30.
