The Crescent Arts Centre supports emerging and established artists and creates innovation in performance, partnerships and projects.

Historically, the Crescent Arts Centre grew out of the efforts of Crescent Fort Rouge United Church.  CAC, a not-for-profit, remains in relationship with Crescent Fort Rouge and lodges within its walls.  CAC’s Board of Directors are notable professional artists and performers dedicated to CAC’s mission to support community arts.

The Crescent Arts Centre at 525 Wardlaw has been blessed with New Horizons funding to deliver programs satisfying the requests of the senior’s community for engaging events and activities.  More than that!  Seniors want inter-generational activities. To quote one regular attender, “Why would I want to hang around with just seniors?”  Point taken!
