We gather on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji Cree, Dene and Dakota nations and the Metis homeland. We acknowledge the stewardship of the land by its original peoples. We also acknowledge past harm and ongoing systemic inequalities. We seek to honour historic treaties and commit to the ongoing work of reconciliation, justice, and healing.
