David Braid’s Joya Concerto, brings together two remarkable Canadian artists: Braid, “one of this country’s true renaissance men” (Ottawa Citizen), and violinist Mark Fewer, known for his genre-defying virtuosity. The work melds global musical influences—from jazz to Indian classical to passages reminiscent of Stravinsky. At the podium, Janna Sailor, acclaimed conductor, violinist, and visionary in the Canadian music scene.
